Some Good News... - February 19, 2007
I am glad to say that this news is as opposite as my last posting as can be. I am proud to announce that God has blessed me and my family with a beautiful, tiny perfect little girl. In light of the tribulations of the last few weeks she is even more precious and appreciated.
Thank you God, you are loving and gracious and generous beyond all understanding. I am also thankful to God for each and every one of you who have been my friends, fans, and family. Sitting quietly in a hospital waiting gives one time to contemplate things that are admittedly overlooked; namely the individuals who color our lives and minister to souls without even being aware of their devine assignment.
Today, I thank God for each and everyone of you-your friendship and love are appreciated beyond measure.
Peace, Love, and Understanding to you All
Humbly,
Jadi

Latest News - October 7, 2005
Well, the CD is still in the works. Jadi is determined that this one be the best one yet, so it is taking more time than the last two. Also, Jadi had to sit out a week due to a severly seperated shoulder from being too zealous on the softball field! He's having surgery to repair the shoulder on October 13, 2005.
Back to the CD: Jadi is putting the finishing touches on it and plans to have it "in the can" by the end of October. Thanks for being so patient-it will be worth the wait!

Congratulations!! - March 14, 2005
I am happy to announce that I became a new uncle on March 13, 2005. My beautiful little sister Jana Cochran gave birth to her second son, Justin Cochran around 10 pm on the 13th. She and her husband Neal, a phenomenal semi-pro quarterback for the Carolina Storm, are tired but elated. Their first child, Nolan, is as proud as he can be and so am I.
I love you, lil' sis, and SEND PICTURES!

WHERE HAVE I BEEN? - November 20, 2004
I've been approached by dozens of you who have asked "where have you been for the last year or so?"
Well, truth is, I had been suffering tremendous pain and other problems as the result of a car accident I had a while ago. Having been raised by a real southern "MAN's MAN" I tried to tough it out and ignore the pain and the constant headaches. But when my hands and arms began to lose feeling I knew something was really wrong. Anyway, it was uncovered in MRI's and other REALLY PAINFUL procedures that I had some fractures in my neck and a couple of ruptured discs. I decided that to insure my wife and children's well being that I had to relocate to North Carolina to be close to my parents and siblings while I recoverd from the inevitable spinal surgery.
I had some vertebrae fused in my cervical spine as well as having spurs and bone fragments removed from my spinal cord. Needless to say, recovery was not terribly easy or quick and I didn't play or sing for several months. To be honest, I thought that my music days were over . This experience made me sympathize with all those people out there who are TRULY sick and/or handicapped. I had HUNDREDS of injections and dozens of medications that affected me in various ways- some good, some bad. Those people that live every day with paralysis or chronic problems are remarkably courageous-it's the touughest thing I've ever done, and my problems were small compared to some of the children, parents, and other folks I met during rehab and therapy. Anyway, I was (and still am) blessed with a wonderful loving wife and family that stuck it out and refused to let me give up even when I wanted to. I wanted to thank all of you who cared enough to write and call during this time-you helped me to re-discover my faith in God and man and inspired me to get back to doing what I love the best-which is play and sing for all of you who listen. I realize now more than ever that it is a real privilege to do what I do and even more of a privilege to have you come and enjoy the music.
Once again, thank you and God Bless you-and BUCKLE UP!
