2009 is just around the corner and I can honestly say that good things are about to happen with the Jadi Norris Band. I want to thank all of you who have been following the band for some time now and have welcomed me with open arms. Without your continued support there would be no reason for our existence. I would like to ask all of you hardcore Jadi Norris fans to bring at least one new face with you to the next show. Let's build this band together and see how far we can take it.

Friday, October 10th at the Sun found drummer, Erik Truelove & bass guitarist Aaron Gonzales displaying their musical abilities. It was pleasant to meet them after the show.
Lorraine & Lois were absent due to Lorraine having been ill for several days, so we send "Get-Well" thoughts to her!
While Scott Barker greeted those of us at our table, Ron, his brother Dave, Ingrid, Melodee, & another friend David, appeared. We had lots to talk about!
As the night progressed, various groups of fans enjoyed the upbeat music. Jadi played my favorite song...another for Lee & the "Hostess Desk" fans too. The "new boys" in the band did very well indeed, as the night passed by in fun, music & merriment.
Scott never did find out which end was up on his cap...but he's bound to learn as time goes by! Man, he makes the keyboard rock when he's rocking! When he plays classical music on his breaks---it does impress!
Something very obvious about Jadi Norris whipping through the fan favorites: dancers or seated fans are singing the words, which is a tribute to Jadi's ability to grow on those fans! That marvelous voice & his composing so many songs himself!
The evening was an enjoyable one...having friends Ron & Dave arrive--those gents can DANCE! They are most appreciative of the Norris music, and while only Dave stepped out this time to that toe-tapping beat...Ron enjoyed his visit too.
Be happy, be well.

Hey Jadi, it is Roxanne I have not talked to you in over 10 years. I really miss your music. I got into a little bit of problems but i am doing a whole lot better. I hope you remember me. I bought you and the guys shirts to open up for my man Clay Walker, and I use to go see you every weekend when you were at mesquite willies. Well I am hoping to get out and see you again real soon. How is Tara? And the kids? I hope you all are doing great. Please e-mail me back and let me know you got my message.

A BRIEF NOTE ABOUT SATURDAY,AUGUST 16:new visitors,Hector and Peggy, danced so much to the Jadi Norris band's wonderful music even Jadi commented about it, it was their first date, yet they never missed a beat! They wanted to congratulate Jim and me on our anniversary,[which still has Jadi adding up the decades!]. Good luck to the two of you,Peggy and thanks again for the nice comments.Amy and family,Lorraineand Lois with happy news. And the top of the news was thatScott will soon be back at the keyboard, people! Finally, To meet Chuck Back was nice, but to hear that mellow voice singing had to be the frosting on the cake for the evening! Even the songs were tugging at the heart types,as Jadi and Chuck displayed such beautiful talent again and again! Along with Jadi, I thank you for playing with the band,it has been a funfilled round of dancing, fans, and having such great musicians playingfor us! Be happy,be well.

August15 at the Sol brought out newcomers and regulars to dance the hours away! Jadi Norris and his fellow msic-makers were in fine fettlethe music had the dance floor packed!Mary,Leigh ann,Monica and Rudy,Lorraine and Lois and dozens more enjoying themselves.A sight to see and then a long wished for appearance! Here ,in front of my table I see James Q,with his lovely partner,Marsha![Marcia?]. I have been imploring for about 2 years for them to appear! We miss being there at the same time by inches. She is a Jiulliard School of Dance scholar, and bar none is absolutely the most lovely performer of the WALTZ ever seen in my lifetime! She floats across the dance floor to her partner, smiling, totally natural, without a speck of self-importance,with lots of eyes glancing her way in full appreciation. And then to see James Q go into Irish jig -type steps warmed the cockles of my own part-Irish heart! 'Twas worth the wait to see you both, come back soon.Let the sun come up to meet you,let the wind be always at your backs. It was such fun chatting with you both! Jadi, your special songs light up the casino, and seeing the couples doing their thing is a really fun event. You area wonderful group of music -makers! Be well,be happy.

Just watched your video on myspace, Gabe is right you are going to be a star; however as you
know we ( your family ) have always known this. I can still remember your first song standing on my back steps, you were about three.
love you... Uncle Gerald and aunt Glenda, Christy, Dave and Carol.

Many fans were already seated when we walked into the Casino of the sun-Lois, Amy and her hus-band,his dad Dave, with Jadi Norris and bandmembers setting up for the night ahead.WHAT a night! Jadi had dancers jiving for each tune played. He even called Monica to come up and dance. She had been ill for several weeks, and got to choose the song she desired. Jadi gleefully had the music ready for her! She soon had many ladies out ther with her, to enjoy the treat! Several couples, new to me, were at the Sun to continue dancing together.AHH me!
Those smiling faces, pretty women,at times uncertain about which arm gets raised for the
next part of a newly learned dance routine! It is great to watch for sure. Claudia and Jean are so friendly, ready to assist anyone needing it. The intermissions were ,as usual, interesting ,the band out in the middle of chats with their fans!
Thanks for a night of beautiful musicJadi!

Ominous thunder clouds and lightning all round did not stop the Jadi Norris fans from seeing the band at the Casino del Sol Friday night! Jean and Claudia were helping fans choose the new recordings available,Thom and Terry, along with Scott Barker ,ready to delight the crowd with their music. Lois and Lorraine
were back, also, after Lorraine's illness, and did she get warm welcomes from many friends!
Familiar faces Diane and Dan can still evoke a
big smile from Jadi, they looked wonderful,as they danced, and enjoyed the variety of songs.
Jadi got healthy whoops from his fans when the music had them dancing slowly, then stepped up the pace til everybody was laughing with partners! Jadi sure carried old or young fans
with ease-he can feel their affection, surely!
Saturday ,the band will perform at the Sun,come and have a great evening!

Jadi,
It was like OLD times @ the Sun, dancing and hearing some OLD and some New music from you all. Always good to see OLD friends and people, hanging out with the band.
We really enjoyed the new cuts from the CD, as well as the Lady Antebellum and the "How they do it in Dixie" covers. Also thanks for the Walz request!

Hi Jadi,
I am a country music promoter in Geneva/Switzerland and I just received your CD from the Country Collage Co. (of Pleasant View, TN). I love your music and I will play several songs on a future radio show (Option Music) in my country. As you see, my english is not perfect and I can't understand well all the words of your beautiful "Hail the American hero", my favorite song. If possible, please could you send me by e-mail, the whole words of this song. I hope to see you on stage in the future, during my next trip in Arizona.
Thank you for your music.
Sincerely

Saturday night at Casino del Sol was sounding most promising as a fun night before the band even assembled! When drummer Thom launched his first drumbeat, Terry had his bass guitar humming, Scott was rippling notes on his keyboard, and our idol Jadi Norris greeted his fans---everybody felt so welcome!
It was great to see and talk with Melodee. Seeing Kennedy walk in with Nora for an evening of their superb style of dancing was like a child getting a birthday wish gratified! The two have such energy! He is so much a gentleman, and she is quite an intelligent, friendly young woman. I think the world of them!
It was great meeting Gabriel & spending time talking with him. He has so much energy & enthusiasm!
Lois & Lorraine were there, as well as Mike & Judy, who do such graceful dancing together! Then Mary, whom I mentally view as "Tireless," who never stops dancing until she goes home.
Monica, her son Rudy, Leann, & Amy with her husband, & many I have not yet met personally, waved "Hello" as I watched the fun!
Jadi has worshipful young fans to whom he shows affectionate attention so many times & their faces glow with pleasure! Jadi, who has the voice we love to listen to, the music dancers whoop & holler over, was blessed with a handsome face, a fine mind, sense to love & treasure his family & his friends!
This writer has grown up with church music, ballroom dancing music, seen vaudeville acts/music, and Roy Rogers & Dale Evans ring-side in Chicago -- but it took a loud speaker over me playing a song to realize the young person singing his way into my heart was one called Jadi Norris! I will be his friend and fan forever!
I also appreciate all the nights my Jim & my dauther Lee saw to it that I made it to the Casinos to hear Jadi.
Be Well. Be Happy! Love, Grandma Dorothy

Jadi,
Just wanted to say thanks for another Fabulous, energized show @ Del Sol. From Badonkadonk to Jailhouse rock, you rocked the house. You NEVER disapoint!
I wanted you to know that we were joking about not getting a Walz, heaven knows you can't possibly play everything for everyone. You had the crowd all night, and that's was what was awesome!
Looking forward hanging out Thursday night at the Maverick, and Friday and Saturday at the "C Note".

Love your singing, Jadi. Thanks for the "Streets of Bakersfield." While I don't care for the Badonkadonk; that's personal preference in play for some of your fans. Your band is the greatest & your fan base is growing as your CDs make their way as Christmas gifts for some friends in Indiana. We know you'll be expanding your fan base as their friends hear you & want to know who that is that's singing & where can the records be bought.
Keep on truckin'!

Thank you Jadi, Ray & Marc, for making my Birthday one I will never forget. You have proven yourselfs once again that not only are you very talented performers, but that you give your fans more than we could ever dream of. God has blessed Greg & I with a good life! But as the song says, "there is a differnce in living and living well". Greg and I have been having the time of our lives: dancing, making new friends, and of course listening to the wonderful COUNTRY band. (sometimes a little rock and roll). Jadi, thanks again for the special dance. BTW...the knees are looking great :)

Saturday last at the Del Sol began with a cheerful, "Happy birthday,Lee" from Jadi to my daughter. She was pleasantly surprised by the greeting thinking her birthday was a secret(--sure it was). It was also an early celebration for Greg's wife Diane, whose children and friends came to help her enjoy the delicious birthday cake! She was the life of the party, that is certain! Greg is the one we need to see to really"SEE" her at the high point of any surprises offered! All I know is she was laughing as hard as I was-a truly good sport!
I thanked the Jadi Norris group way back in March, for their wonderful treatment of my event and know Diane and Greg truly enjoyed the evening with Jadi and the band and all the friends who came.
Be well and be happy!

April 27 at the Sun was quite an evening! Jadi and the Band at their musical best,as always, with time to do some 'catching up' with the fans.,too.!
Mark was most informative about that drum set-an eye catcher to be sure and he does a neat job all evening!
Ray,on bass guitar, has emerged from his shell- what a great guy he is! A sense of humor and an ability to take it when someone gets to him! His playing
speaks for itself,! And that chuckle!
As for our Band leader Jadi, I still maintain he is top of the heap, what with that beautiful voice, his guitar playing, and his down to earth rapport with his fans!
As Greg and Diane danced ,there was a circle of 8 watching them at one point, who audibly groaned when the music stopped! When club employees compliment the things going on, and fans hate to say goodnight, there is a winning combo hard at work, I would say! Thanks for a wonderful evening to you men in the band ! Be well,be happy!

The band was in super -gear this past Saturday! People kept filling those chairs,,music rising in the air and dozens dancing each time Jadi Norris began singing. This band fits together so well! Ron and Vikki,Diane and Greg,Richard and Rita,Nora with Kennedy and many others- just superb dancing partners who bring a broad smile to Jadi''s face when they begin to dance. I also enjoy the friendly fans who top off the whole evening at the Club Sol with their enthusiasm and love for the band!

To Jadi and the band: It has been a nice change having such a good and personable band to listen to 3 nights a week. You all are very talented. I heard that yet again you put on a good performance this past Saturday. I was saddened by the fact that I had worked so much that I could not go and listen to it myself. I am glad that you now perform at the Cactus Moon as well. I look forward to seeing you there this Thursday. Keep up the good work and God Bless you and your families

Jadi,
It didn't take long, my friend, for the tide of great news to roll......
First, God bless, and congratulations to both you and your wife in the birth of your precious baby girl! Remember the admonition of Prov. 22:6!
In addition to Shannah's birth, the announcement of the "Moon" as your newest venue is awesome. It is not only the best place to dance, but will now feature THE best sound in southern Arizona - The JDN band!
In the mean time, we will catch you at the casino...Diane is having badonkadonk withdrawal... :)
P.S. The new band is sounding fantastic!

Jadi- as a musician you are the best there is in this town, as a person, you are truly a gentleman. It seems as though people you have let go for professional reasons are bitter- let them be. It seems as though musicians that post negative comments on your site are truly jealous (why else would they be looking at your site?) However- we know where your heart is, we know where the talent is and that is why we here in Tucson, support you at every place you play. We'd travel to see you, we pay to see you because your worth it. So if "All of Tucson" is reading this, get a life! Get a job! Get lost! All of Tucson is listening to Jadi, not YOU!

Jadi, last Saturday at Casino del Sol was a real blast! I had the fun of meeting Claudia's dance partner, and the two had so many watching them move to the Overdrive music,it was like a contest ! Many stayed on the floor from tune to tune, and you had everybody humming and in motion while each song was sung and requests were flying at you.Not to spoil you, but the four of you are always in perfect harmony! Thanks for such a great time! The 82 year old fan,Dorothy

You and your band were fantastic last night! Such energy from the first song to the very last! Even people away from the stage found space to dance every now and then, plus a lot of toe-tapping happened with the folks sitting at the machines. You really affect people and I hope there's plenty of good things on the horizon for Jadi Norris and Overdrive. Keep on truckin'!

Had a wonderful time last night at Dol Sol! I also want to thank you again for signing my CD several weeks back at the Sun! I love it! I have played it so much that last night I was dancing and singing YOUR songs right along with you.
I wish I could spend every Friday and Saturday with you! I am really hopeing to go to Country Thunder in April to see you, but with my illness I will have to see if I'm up to it. If it wasn't for that you would see me every weekend! I have a 300 CD disk changer (that's full) and your CD has been the only one to get played for the last month, lol (all day long). Your music is the best medication I have! Can't wait till the new CD!

I haven't seen you perform since our good old days at the New West. I came back to Tucson for my first downhome Christmas in 4 years and was lucky enough to see your show at the Maverick last Thursday. You just keep getting better. I can't thank you enough for the memories you brought back. It was worth the 2800 mile trip just to hear you sing Runaway Heart. You're a true artist and best of luck in the new year.
